Maria Kenarova speaks about her work, " Decorative ceramics is my favorite media. I chose clay as a material for my contemporary creations based on my impression of the old petroglyphs. Ceramic by its nature is a material used by the ancient people. At the same time it still has a life and use today. It is also a material close to natural rock and stone. For connections between the ceramic panels I use raffia and wood or cinnamon sticks."
